The view makes up for any shortcomings and I would love to return, but a few things need to be fixed prior to me booking again. With it getting light at 5:30 in the morning, blinds in the master were crucial, so we had to make our own on a few of the windows that were missing blinds. Seems to be an easy fix with what we paid per night. I also think it's worth noting that there was no AC. Being from the south, we're just not used to that and found ourselves a bit warm at night if we didn't leave a window open. It was a bit of a hunt trying to find the laundry room, so maybe instructions on how to find that? We were on a long road trip and got nervous that it actually didn't have a laundry room like stated in the posting! Also, there are only 2 restaurants nearby, one was extremely expensive and the other did not allow children. Tillamook is relatively close enough for additional options, but it was interesting how much was closed on a regular week night. Oceanside beach was nice and close and seriously, the porch and view were so incredible, I could just sit there for a week!

The views are some of the best I've had the pleasure of enjoying in 50 years of visiting the Oregon Coast. The house and especially the artwork within the residence were excellent. My only complaint was that we could never figure out how to get the volume levels for the TVs to work.

The view of the coast is amazing - seals on the sandbar, paddle boarders cruising the calm water, beautiful sunsets. We prepared our breakfasts and evening meals in the well equipped kitchen. Our favorite destination was Tunnel Beach but other state parks were close by. The house was very comfortable for our family of three generations.

This property was so beautiful and I cannot wait to stay again
