Horrible place.

Location

There was a hole in the roof of one of the rooms. We are very lucky it didn’t rain. Plus the mattress wasn’t even on that bed even though we payed for it. The sofa was broken so one of us couldn’t sleep on it. And extremely loud drilling woke us up in the morning. The apartment also lied about parking as the closest parking was an extortionate shopping centre car park 0.2 miles away from the apartment. The apartment was very hard to even locate and we had zero help from staff as they ignored us. Disgusting.

Absolutely terrible service, awaiting refund, ruined our get together completely

The location was very good, right near all pubs and restaurants. Bed mattress was firm.

The advertised address 6 Pudding Chare doesn't exist. I had to call up and ask what the address was as we couldn't find it. We were told 6 Powdene House. Knocked on the door, someone lived there. Eventually after back and forth in messages we were told number 2, which was open and there was no key to lock up. Lock box outside didn't open with the code given. Owner non responsive after the first call. Absolutely horrendous. We didn't get access until half 3, spent hours on the phone trying to resolve with booking.com. We were never given a key so couldn't go to dinner or out with friends we were meeting for our reunion. The floor was filthy, as evidenced by the dirt on our socks and bare feet. The oven was dirty with baking trays still covered with grease. We bought tin foil to use as after scrubbing them they didn't come up clean. One room was missing slats in the blind, had dents in the walls and the sofa leather is cracked and awful to sit on. It does not at all look like the photos. Previous to all this we requested early check in at least half a dozen times through booking.com and WhatsApp messages. I rang the owner many times and there was no response. I emailed directly. When I said this to them on the one phone call I had that was an actual person, she said "we have 148 properties, we can't answer all queries" then don't manage 148 properties appallingly or get more staff!? Absolutely ruined our time there. Awaiting refund through booking.com after sending photos and screenshots. The most appalling place I've ever stayed, not just from the issues with the flat we ended up in, the major huge issue is the property manager. Appalling. Don't be fooled by the positive reviews, they're fake.
