My Downtown - Oladar Haveli

We had a wonderful stay! We arrived at 7:30 AM and were pleasantly surprised that we could check into our room right away. The hotel also kindly allowed us to have breakfast on the morning of our arrival since we wouldn’t be using breakfast the following morning. The room is full of local Indian character and culture, which made it feel special and authentic. We loved the lovely window-seat area with its tall windows and the open-air balcony shared with the neighboring room. Having a ceiling fan on the balcony was a nice touch. The bathroom was excellent, with plenty of hot water, wonderful water pressure from the rain shower, and large, soft towels. We especially appreciated the refillable containers of shampoo, liquid body wash, and body lotion, all with wonderful local scents. Breakfast offered a nice selection of local dishes and yogurt, along with freshly prepared eggs, omelettes, and pancakes made to order. The rooftop restaurant was another highlight, with lovely views and a cool breeze. The location was also very convenient, making it easy to walk to the Old City or catch a tuk-tuk when needed. Overall, we really appreciated the thoughtful hospitality, beautiful local touches, and comfortable amenities. It was a lovely place to stay while experiencing India

There were just a few minor things we didn’t like. The view from our room’s balcony wasn’t particularly scenic, although we still enjoyed having the open-air space. At breakfast, the food-serving area was quite small, making it a little cramped when guests were serving themselves. The ground-floor bathroom also needed better attention to cleanliness and maintenance. Thankfully, this did not reflect the overall care and upkeep of the rest of the hotel, which we found very good.

La struttura è bella con camere nuove molto graziose e pulite con un’architettura indiana curata nei dettagli.

Mancanza di spazi comuni ampi:: la hall aveva solo un piccolo salotto a disposizione dei clienti. La colazione poco varia. Il personale della reception poco disponibile a fornirci informazioni turistiche.

Suggerisco una maggior attenzione alla biancheria da bagno e da letto, data la qualità della struttura

Location is close to City Palace. That’s good Rooms are nice. Property is small. From the pics, it looked grander. Price was higher than comparable hotels

Property is inside an area that comes after you go from an alley. So not easily findable. That was a little upsetting. Towels were old and not clean / washed properly. They need to put new ones.
