The location for this apartment is great. Easy walking distances to the underground and main attractions, quick grocery stores are nearby. This apartment has a balcony access that goes to the atrium, so generally it is very quiet. This is probably a wonderful place to stay during colder months, but not in summer.

Keep in mind - there is NO A/C, we were provided two small fans, which obviously cannot circulate enough air. We requested to have at least some bigger fans, and were told that they'll ask, but then there was nor response or action on it. At night, you can't open the windows/balcony, because the atrium is like a tropical green house, and there is no outside cool air coming in. Keys are picked up at a different location, about 5-7 minute walk from the apartment. So read your check-in instructions if you are traveling with lots of luggage and you are taking a taxi from the airport. Internet is very slow, so if you have to catch up on work, keep that in mind. Deposit return took about a month, and after several messages, which should happen automatically.

Good-sized apartment, extremely clean in a very good, central location. The apartment block itself is very attractive. January room rates were very reasonable. The bed was comfortable and sheets and towels were properly laundered.

The title is misleading. The apartment has a balcony but overlooking the courtyard and there are no views of the Thames. The property management was frustrating. Lots of admin ahead of staying and this was not clear before the non-refundable commitment has been made. A deposit taken which was almost double the cost of the stay. Keys needed to be picked up at a newsagents 10 minutes walk away. I tried to find the info on the day and it wasn’t easily found in the app reservation. Similarly the instructions for actually entering the apartment were extremely difficult to find in the App and when found (after 10 minutes of looking) weren’t as clear as they could have been. I called 3 times for assistance but no one answered. Thank goodness I eventually managed to work things out. Unlike the upmarket photos, the apartment has functional but worn furniture, very few plates and mugs (mismatching) and 3 standing lamps but all were broken. There was a distinct drain smell in the bathroom on 2 of the 3 nights. I didn’t use the kitchen so don’t know how well the appliances or small TV worked. Finally, it would have been nice to have at least a couple of teabags or coffee capsules provided to start off the guest stay, but there wasn’t anything aside from washing up liquid and soaps in the bathroom (which were nice). With very little money invested this apartment could be amazing ….
