The accommodation is on a hill with a view over the vineyards and the idyllic Megalochori on the island of Santorini in the Aegean. The excellent location in the little village is a good starting point for getting to know the many places of interest on this unique island, as well as the nearby beaches. It is just 6km to the vibrant town Fira, to get to know the other side of the island. Megalochori is known for its export of Vinsanto wine, which is still produced on the island. The locality also has strong connections with Odessa in Russia and so there are some church bells from Russia. Despite the tourist development, the village has kept its traditional and authentic charm. The cobbled roads free of traffic, the Venetian bell towers and the beautiful main square with chic restaurants are among its special characteristics.
