The large window section on the west side of the house, where the covered terrace is located, offers a unique view over a nature reserve with meadows and diverse bird life. The location is particularly suitable as a starting point for excursions to the historical sites of Düppeler Mühle, Schanzen and for hiking on the Gendarmenweg. Visit the beautiful harbour towns of Sonderburg (10 km) and Flensburg (25 km), with their beautiful old houses and charming harbour environment. The house is only 100 metres from a beautiful, child-friendly beach on the Baltic Sea coast. The surrounding area is known for its diverse wildlife, so we recommend packing binoculars.
