The house is located in the lovely town of Pedara, on the eastern slope of Etna, just 10 kilometers away from Catania. I suggest you to enjoy the Piazza Don Bosco, heart of the downtown where you will find restaurants, markets, a vivid lifestyle and a wonderful public garden. We are in the eastern side of Sicily, and two masterpieces dominate the landscapes; the sea and Etna volcano, joined by something bigger thant them: the blue Sicilian sky!Etna Park (Unesco’s), with its inactiv volcanos (the sons of Etna), caves, forests, lava grounds … lasta 10 km’sCatania, with its gorgeous Via Etnea and its outdoor markets, lasts 10 km’s. The Playa (beaches) too lasts 10 km’s. I suggest you to get a visit to Acitrezza and Acicastello (5 km’s), fishermen hamlets, where the lava flow has painted a castle and basalt giants (sea stacks). Another tips is the visit of Pantalica (Unesco’s), with its more than 3000 graves carved on the rock, a river, a forest and a sort of mistery all around.
