Around Winterberg, 7 mountains offer a total of 25 lifts and 34 downhill runs with a total length of 27.5 km. Around the Kahler Asten is a beautiful cross-country skiing area. Winterberg also has a bobsleigh track, while Willingen (20 km) has a ski jump. But there are also several ski possibilities there. In summer, you can water-ski in the Hillebachsee ( 2km). There is a sunbathing lawn, a sandy beach and a children's nature pool. Niedersfeld has mini-golf, tennis courts and a go-kart track. The village of Hildfeld is surrounded by extensive forests and nature reserves. For a sporty holiday, this is a prime location as several hiking trails and mountain bike routes run past the village. The Rothaarsteig but also several other shorter hiking trails are marked out in the terrain. A complete cycling route network with around 250 km of mountain bike routes has been constructed in the area. The hills and mountains, present a challenge for racing cyclists. Climbs of 15% are no exception. Winterberg offers various other facilities such as a 9-hole golf course and a bobsleigh track and summer toboggan run.
