The villa also has a small reference library. Poreč and nearby towns such as Rovinj, Motovun or Višnjan are known for their historic buildings. The center of Poreč is under the protection of UNESCO. Post office, church, school and a small shop are in the next village Nova (2 km). The vegetable market and a fish hall can be found in Poreč. There are also large supermarkets, medical and veterinary ambulances and pharmacies.
