You can park your car and/or boat on our own property, or in our shed if you wish. Hem is located in West Friesland, an area between the towns of Hoorn, Enkhuizen, Medemblik and Alkmaar, in North Holland. The centre of the village of Hem is 3 km from your chalet. There is a supermarket, chemist, café/restaurant, petrol station and ATM. The IJsselmeer is 4 km away. Here you can enjoy swimming, sailing, surfing or water sports. You should definitely visit the historic towns of Hoorn and Enkhuizen. There are cosy terraces everywhere and at the old harbour you can enjoy the many sailing ships that moor here.
