Overall, we had a brilliant stay. The amazing location in a lovely historic residential neighbourhood of DC is definitely one of the best things about the apartment, very convenient for exploring DC on a short weekend trip. The apartment was immaculate, spacious, meticulously designed with modern amenities with some historic elements preserved which adds character to the modernised apartment. It is ideal for couples and families. You can easily find some good eateries in the area and there are good transport links to Downtown DC, major hubs, and surrounding neighbourhoods via the nearby Columbia Heights Metro Station or the extensive bus routes. The area has one of the best walking routes and trails in and around the area combining urban historic pathways with nearby lush parkland trails. We booked the place blind one week before our trip and could not have found a more home away from home place to stay! The host was helpful, friendly and responsive throughout our stay. She accommodated our late checkout and was kind and generous enough to allow us some time to freshen up before our flight in the evening. The amazing location, cleanliness, and the host's availability and affability definitely made our stay delightful! A huge Thank You to the host from across the pond! :)

We loved that the apartment was 2 floors and had plenty of space for our family of 4. It's in a very quiet neighborhood but close enough to the city to see everything conveniently! It was extremely clean and the beds were very comfortable. Would highly recommend.

The apartment is the lower level of the owners house so you could hear footsteps throughout the day but it wasn't too bad at all. The only other thing is there was only 1 bathroom but we made it work ok!
