Our stay at the Deer Brook Inn was wonderful!
From the moment we arrived and met Carmen and her family, we felt welcomed and very much at home. Our upstairs room was cozy and comfortable. The decor of the entire home is inviting and relaxed.
Carmen's breakfasts are delicious and presented with great care.
In addition to being a gifted cook, she is a natural as Innkeeper. Warm, gracious, attentive and interesting - an absolute delight! Meeting and spending time her was without a doubt one of the best parts of our trip. We would positively stay at Deer Brook Inn again and again.

A beautiful location. Hosts were amazing. Clean and tastefully decorated. My only criticism would be to add ports for charging cell phones and computers. Otherwise, it was incredible. We highly recommend this location!

The property manager greeted us when we walked in and she was extremely friendly and kind. The inn was charming and had a homey feel, and the rooms were very clean and well maintained with awesome amenities.

I highly recommend Deer Brook Inn. The photos don’t do it justice. It’s beautiful, cozy, well-kept and everything you’d want for a Vermont getaway. The innkeepers may be some of my favorite humans I’ve ever met. Their energy is bright and peaceful which reflects into the energy of the inn. They have cookies, coffee, teas and other drinks at night and a delicious custom breakfast in the morning. They have chickens out back, a fire pit and a sauna. It’s about a 7min drive from downtown Woodstock. Don't hesitate to book!
