Welcome to Palace Gate, a handsome and character-filled holiday home set in an unbeatable location—directly opposite Hampton Court Palace and just 50 steps from the River Thames. This spacious period property comfortably sleeps up to 12 and blends historic charm with modern comfort, making it perfect for family gatherings, celebrations, or a unique group getaway.
Inside, the house features four stylish bedrooms (three doubles and one twin), plus two sofa beds across the lounge and a separate sitting room. The open-plan living and dining area seats 10 and includes a large Internet TV, Wi-Fi, and games console. A fully equipped kitchen, utility room, central heating, and a private courtyard with seating and BBQ complete the picture.
Step outside and you’re in the heart of vibrant Hampton Court Village, with lots of restaurants and pubs within five minutes’ walk—including the excellent Mute Swan right next door—and a 24/7 Marks & Spencer’s just around the corner.
And when you're ready to explore the city, the train station is just a short stroll away. From there, you can be in central London (Waterloo) in around 35 minutes, with direct service via Wimbledon and Clapham Junction. For those with a car, over twenty top visitor attractions and sporting venues lie within an hour’s drive.

Excellent location. We enjoyed the Mute Swan, Bushy Park parkrun, canoeing on the Thames, visiting Hampton Court Palace and Kew Gardens. We enjoyed eating outside at the property. We enjoyed the layout of the house and furnishings.
We didn’t have enough large towels for each of us (12 people).
It was very hot when we were there - it would be great to have a fan in each bedroom.
