The bay is a sheltered 250-metre stretch of golden sand, facing northwest and ideal for swimming, surfing, sailing, windsurfing, and classic beachside fun. Children and explorers alike will enjoy the rock pools, while all visitors are captivated by the dramatic waterfall that tumbles over the cliff directly onto the beach.

The area forms part of Cardigan Bay, renowned for its wildlife and exceptional coastal scenery. From Laburnum Lodge, the Wales Coast Path is easily accessible, linking Tresaith with neighbouring Aberporth. Close by is the beautiful, National Trust–managed Penbryn Beach, where walkers often enjoy sightings of seals and dolphins gliding close to the shore.

The nearby village of Aberporth, only a few minutes away, has 2 beautiful sandy beaches, coastal eateries, and local amenities—perfect for fabulous days out.
