Jungle Paradise

The rooms were large and mostly the staff was amazing! Beds all had mosquito nets and they were very diligent about helping us not be overrun by bugs- the hotel is in the jungle! The property provided citronella spray and were very helpful. My children enjoyed the pool. The safari arranged through the property was great! Dinner was okay, but it wasn't worth trying to find a different place. They packed breakfast for us to take on safari- egg sandwiches were okay, but the provided fruit and juices were a great addition. Another review indicated one night is enough and we appreciated that. Not much to do outside safari. One day is enough :)

I think most places in Udawale are a little more "rough." The room was comfortable enough, but the beds were firmer. Also, lots of bugs in the bathroom as night fell. For the most part, the nets and keeping the door closed and being quick when in and out kept them out of the room. This is to be expected in this area, just notable.

The staff were incredibly friendly, they provided wonderful food and organised the safari for us.

We had slight issues with power and electricity, however the staff were incredibly responsive and sorted this for us whenever we had issues.

We stayed at Jungle Paradise for 2 nights (2 adults and 2 children). The resort is very nice and clean, and the large pool was perfect. The hosts were super friendly and accommodating. The food was also very good. We booked a half-day morning safari right there and were absolutely thrilled. We saw lots of elephants with their babies, monkeys, crocodiles, water buffalo, and turtles.
