For active holidaymakers, the surrounding area offers excellent opportunities for hiking, cross-country skiing (cross-country skiing area just 1 km away), mountaineering and many other outdoor activities. Thanks to the Appenzell holiday card, which is available to all guests, you can easily explore the region and its attractions, such as the nearby Alpstein massif.
