I had such an amazing experience staying at 247 Hostel in Seoul, and I honestly couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! First and foremost, the cleanliness was exceptional! Everything was spotless, well-maintained, and incredibly comfortable. You can really tell how much care and effort goes into keeping the property welcoming for guests. What truly made this stay special, though, was the warmth and generosity of the staff. Everyone was extremely friendly, approachable, and always willing to help. Their hospitality went above and beyond what I would normally expect from a hostel. From offering complimentary treats and ramen to providing laundry cleaning facilities, it was all the little thoughtful gestures that made such a big difference. It genuinely felt like they wanted every guest to have the best possible experience. Another highlight was the lovely terrace area, which was perfect for enjoying a meal, relaxing after a long day of exploring Seoul, or simply sitting back and unwinding. It added such a cozy, homely touch to the entire experience. It's rare to find a place where you feel so comfortable and genuinely cared for, especially when travelling in a different country. I would absolutely stay here again whenever I return to Seoul, without a second thought! ❤️ A huge thank you to the wonderful team at 247 Hostel for making my time in Seoul even more special. This property gets a 10/10 from me. Location: Fantastic. There are 2 subway stations nearby (Dongmyo and Dongdaemun) making moving around the city as well as to and from Seoul Station a breeze. There are several convenience stores nearby. Amenities: Fantastic. A lot of care has been put to ensure that guest has every basic necessities for their stay. This includes, amongst others, in room slippers, shampoo and body wash, charger, earplugs, toothpaste. The hostel was so sweet to provide a complimentary face mask too! Not only that, free water bottles are available for guests in the fridge. Guest can get the water bottle anytime and need not spend money to buy water. Room: Fantastic for a solo traveller. I love the fact that I have a room. With the price, I got a whole room to myself with my own toilet and fridge. It is the right size for a solo traveler like me with a large luggage. There’s also space under the bed to keep a large luggage. Service: Fantastic. Perhaps the most memorable aspect of my stay was the staff. I met Pete, whose kind smile remained constant. He was attentive and kind. Without being called (the office was on the 2nd floor), he came down to greet me at the ground floor and insisted on carrying my luggages up the stairs to the 3rd floor. Even on my final day, he heard me open the door and promptly came to my room at the 3rd floor to help with my luggages. His welcoming Korean hospitality made my visit even more pleasant.
