The property was self catering. Initially it was difficult to find being situated off a very narrow country road. Our Hosts Patrizia and her two daughters were charming and very helpful. It was a bonus to have them at their adjoining family home. The property we occupied was set in a well manicured garden with estabilshed fruit trees (chestnut, Citrus, Fig, Olive to name a few}, a lovely lawn (wonderlawn), a very nice pool with loungers etc surrounded on one side by rhe family home and on the other by farmland. The facilities were good and we enjoyed being able to sit out in the evenings and enjoy drinks and snacks in complete privacy. We would have preferred two en suite bathrooms being two elderly couples and the second being off the outside patio was a bit small and inconvenient. But this was the only negative and would not be a problem for a family of 4 or for two younger couples. In addition the door to the house closed automatically and if one did not take the key it could not be opened from the outside. Some of us oldies have to get up at night and to be inadvertently locked out could present a major crisis.

We have mentioned the only negative from our point of view and the initial difficulty in initially finding the property
