S One Hotel

it was great!! Super comfortable and close to the beach. The staff were friendly and small dogs are allowed, so my poodle was thrilled for a beach vacation!! The rooms were very spacious and the bathroom was clean. Just a heads-up: the bathroom walls are partially transparent and there is a mirror alongside the bed, which might be awkward if traveling with coworkers or parents.

Location is great, convenient to many things by foot, Area is quiet as well as the hotel although there was some noise from an adjacent washing machine outside the room. AC & Ventilation worked well. Blackout doors on the windows helps darken the room at night. Room is large with extra space, bed is decent. Shower worked well. Phone charger available near the bed (although one of the cables didn't seem to work). 2 desktop computers in the room for some reason, didn't have a need to use either. 2 free bottled waters in the fridge that were replaced daily.

The combo TV, lights, AC controller is not straight forward to use. Had difficulty one night turning the lights off at bedtime. I used a similar type of remote later in my trip at a different hotel that was much easier to operate. There was a noticeable cigarette smell in the room that would definitely bother some people. It wasn't obvious all the time, but when there wasn't good airflow, it was present. Rooms need a lot of updating, but it's also the reason why the hotel is one of the more affordable options in this more expensive area to visit.
