Short drive to downtown Hilo with free parking. Large room, great shower and water pressure, free laundry, kitchen facilities, and coffee.
Didn’t realize the private bathroom was not attached to the bedroom so had to walk down a corridor. Other guests around and had an awkward encounter with another guest who followed us around upon our arrival. Need a little better instruction on how to lock doors. The front door was tricky.

The location changed to a different one, but it was nice overall. And we had to wait for the keys to come in a different car.

We liked having the spacious shared space (a well-equipped kitchen and a living room with tv and couch) and our private bathroom. The facilities look new, clean, and are well decorated. Our bedroom was comfortable and quiet for a good night sleep. The host James was very responsive to our questions before and during the stay. There's free laundry and three cute cats onsite! The location is also great for ramen lovers (next block) and easy to get groceries even late at night.
Got a few mosquito bites but no big deal
