Padma Hotel

L'hôtel est très bien situé et le petit-déjeuner savoureux !

A small and very comfortable hotel, brand new, minimalistic beutiful decor. Staff very attentive and service minded everywhere, reception, bar and breakfast. I loved the rooftop area where a lovely breakfast buffet was served.

I can not find anything that I did not like about Padma.

It's a brand new hotel built to be very high end and luxurious including design and materials. The rooms are modern, comfortable, clean. AC works perfectly. We loved the breakfast and also the beautiful view from the rooftop terrace.

There needs to be clearer communication about the pool cause at the current level it's a bit like catfishing. The pool in reality is quite small and located in a bit of awkward corner of the building. Sunny only in a small part of the day. Also it is not communicated clearly that the sun loungers are not available for you if you don't book the deluxe room. So your only other option is to sit in a permanently shaded area with chairs and tables at the bar - not comfortable for relaxing. Also the pool is so cold it's unenjoyable. We enjoy the sea but also like to have a pool in the hotel where we can relax. If the beach close by would not have been so nice we would have been seriously disappointed about the hotel promise on the pool experience. The second topic is the food. The breakfast is fantastic but it gets cold very soon. The food they serve is in an open area on the rooftop, we arrived for breakfast as first every day at 800 and most of the food was barely lukewarm. I would propose to invest in equipment that keeps at least select food options warm. Also given that to hotel does not serve its own food after breakfast but you are not allowed to bring food in from outside, it's a lost opportunity to truly enjoy the roof terrace other times of the day. A few select dishes for lunch / dinner would go a long way making the stay feel better. The third thing is a bit about privacy. We had a room on the first floor where the room and bed view opened to the terrace where people could also walk by. Mostly it was perfectly fine and private however the cleaning staff kept excessively cleaning this area quite often. We felt we needed to keep the curtains close most of the time just to feel undisturbed. The recommendation is to keep the cleaning routines better organized for this side of the building: cleaning is ok but do it 1x / day and then don't come to this area.
