We stayed a week in this studio, and it turned out to be the perfect choice. As a vegan, I knew I’d want to cook for myself, since vegan restaurants in the city are fairly limited. The fully equipped kitchen made that easy: microwave, kettle, electric oven, double induction hob, coffee machine and toaster, pans, small pots, plus all the glasses, dishes and cutlery you could need, and a large fridge (the freezer was temporarily out of order, but we didn’t need it). You can cook pretty much anything you need, so eating vegan and healthy is easy :) The studio is also very practical for longer stays. There’s a washing machine (and detergent), though we simply washed by hand in a basin and hung our laundry to dry in the lovely little courtyard. Both beds are double and very comfortable. We were two, but it would easily host three, and four with a bit of organization. The bunk bed is easy to reach thanks to a sturdy ladder. Extra sheets, towels, pillows and blankets are provided, lovely little bedside lamps that give it a warm, cosy feel, and two power strips, which are handy with several guests and lots of devices. There are also air units for heating and cooling (we didn’t need them). The Wi-Fi was stable throughout our stay. The place is full of character, with an old-world, well-kept style, plenty of storage space, and a delightful courtyard where having breakfast outdoors was a real pleasure. The location is excellent: in the centre, a few minutes’ walk from Place Carnot and all the sights of the Bastide Saint-Louis, with the medieval fortress a pleasant stroll away. The owner was responsive and helpful, and communication via Booking and SMS was always quick and easy. A clean, cosy and functional home in a central spot, with excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

Nothing to complain about!

清潔で設備が整っているお部屋だった。エアコン、扇風機完備で完璧。コーヒーマシンもあり、無料のコーヒーカプセルを用意してくれていて、とてもリラックスすることができた。ロケーションも良く、城壁、駅、Flixbus乗り場どこにでも歩いていくことができた。治安も良かった。

Très bien placé, très agréable quand il fait chaud car reste frais et l'extérieur est un plus. Le mobilier est confortable et le studio bien aménagé. Le propriétaire est réactif, très agréable et à l'écoute. Manque peut-être d'ustensiles de cuisine (poêle, casserole, accessoires) mais ça, c'est si on veut cuisiner ! Et pas très bien insonorisé mais les voisins étaient respectueux et nous avons fait notre possible pour l'être aussi. Merci pour ce séjour très agréable

We loved how this unit was historical from the outside and modern in the inside. It was amazing to wake up in the middle of Carcasonne. The unit was small but very functional. The three of us had a very comfortable stay.

The bunk bed can be noisy.
