Basudara House Ubud

We absolutely loved our stay! The place is beautiful, spotlessly clean, and looks exactly like the photos. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the lively centre of Ubud, yet peaceful and quiet. Wira and Putu are wonderful hosts, incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive. The breakfast was delicious too! I had already booked all our activities in advance, but I wish I had waited, as Wira would have been happy to help us organise everything. He's incredibly helpful and knows the area so well!

Absolutely nothing! Everything was wonderful, and we couldn't have asked for a better stay.

This was definitely the best place we stayed during our trip to Indonesia. Surprisingly, it was also one of the most affordable, but offered the best service. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious. Everything exceeded our expectations. Amazing value for money!

Nothing. We were very happy with everything during our stay.

I stayed at Basudara House in Ubud for 3 days and 2 nights, and it lived up to the photos! The overall experience was fantastic, and the value for money was extremely high! The location is excellent: within an 8-minute walk of the main street, very quiet and well-insulated. The owners speak excellent English and were very attentive to our travel needs, responding quickly to any questions. The price was reasonable, yet the service was like a five-star hotel. The room was impeccably clean: the owners hand-moistened the floor! I walked barefoot in the room and my feet weren't dirty at all. All the items were brand new. The bed was large and comfortable, and the air conditioning was very strong. The owners, a husband and wife, were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and provided a fresh and plentiful breakfast every day! Note: There is no replaceable showerhead filter; the shower head is fixed to the wall. The room is on the second floor, accessible only by stairs.
