Good Location BUT Poor management & hygiene. Will not stay here again.
The property is very close to the Raynes Park Train station, The co-op, Waitrose and Sainsbury's. The apartment is a good size for 2. That's about all that was great about our stay.
The apartment was totally unclean - Possibly not cleaned after the previous guest left and was not cleaned for the next 3 days of our 5 day stay, despite reminders every single day. We arrived to the following issues:
1. Floors - Crumbs all over, sticky in parts. Had not been cleaned.
2. Kitchen - Drawer handles were sticky with food, and insides of the drawers had bits of food inside. Microwave had crumbs of food inside. The oven still had remnants of the previous guests cooking/food. Counter tops were unclean, had paint on them! Dishwasher was clogged with stagnant, dirty water and did not work. Garbage bin hadn't been cleaned in forever, we had to place the bin in the balcony since the mould and rotting food was stinking the apartment up.
3. Living Room - The couch had used tissues and crisps stuck between the cushions. There was a broken chair, a safety hazard.
4. Bedroom - Used mug was found under the sofa bed in the bedroom. We were sneezing from our allergies - Dusty sticky floor, especially under the bed, which hadn't seen a hoover or a mop in an age. The pillow covers had stains on them, and when the cleaners came in 3 days later, they simply turned the covers inside out.
5. Bathroom - The drawers had a crisp inside it! The soap holder placed inside it was grimy with used soap and someone's hair.
Also, given the heat wave, we had put in a request for fans (plural) to be placed in the apartment to which the property managers said "they would be happy to". Upon arrival, there was no fan in the apartment, they took 2 days to finally get ONE promised fan from them. We had to purchase our own fan in the meantime to combat the unmanageable heat.
Finally, The property says they have an Iron. They had NO iron and a dismantled ironing board. It took them a couple of days for them to provide this.
The host is responsive only until 5pm after which we get a BOT. Despite polite promises, things were not done.
