There was abit of confusion when checking in but it was sorted in no time

Everything. we traveled with children and they were booked on the ground floor with us to the third floor, we ended up squatting all in one room on the third floor on our first night, when raising this with the staff we were told that someone else checking into the room opposite to us, when I insisted on a refund for the ground floor room that we were not using, I was told we could use it, the manner of communication was so underwhelming. The staff is no nonchalant, the black rug in our room was sooo dirty, I ended up getting a broom downstairs to clean the room myself. There was no hot water in the morning and another group that was there were brought candles to use for lights when the power went off the night before as there is no backup whatsoever. The staff seen to have no training or knowledge of housekeeping. I just avoided them and did things myself. Also there was no keys for the main door and we were told someone would open for us but the door bell would go off for extended period with no one opening, what if it is at night? We could get robbed just standing at the door in the cold waiting for someone to open for us. The staff seen to have no training or knowledge of housekeeping.
