Our lodging is located in the quiet neighborhood of Oberhegenau in the town of Colmberg, nestled in a natural, rural setting—ideal for unwinding after a day’s work or for a relaxing vacation.
A special highlight is Colmberg Castle, which is located nearby and offers an impressive view of the Altmühl Valley.
The historic old town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber is only about 12 km away and can be reached in about 15 minutes by car. It is one of Germany’s most famous attractions and delights visitors with its city walls, market square, Plönlein, museums, and numerous restaurants.
The famous Way of St. James runs right past our apartment, making our accommodation particularly attractive for hikers and cyclists. Numerous well-marked biking and hiking trails wind through the region’s diverse natural landscape.
The city of Ansbach, with its shopping, restaurants, and cultural offerings, is also just a short drive away. The surrounding area offers a wide range of excursion options for nature lovers, culture enthusiasts, and active vacationers.
