Casa de Tartaruga is a half-century-old Goan heritage home set on a sprawling half-acre estate in Badem, Assagao — one of North Goa's most coveted villages. This isn't a hotel. It's a place to experience Goa the way the locals have for generations: slowly, warmly, and surrounded by beauty.
A Heritage Home, Thoughtfully Reimagined
Every wall, every archway, every wide veranda tells a story. This stunning property has been meticulously renovated and retrofitted to contemporary comforts while retaining every ounce of its old-world Goan character. The thick laterite walls keep interiors naturally cool even in peak summer. The extra-wide wrap-around verandas on both levels are where you'll spend your mornings with coffee and your evenings watching the sun filter through the palms. The house breathes, and so will you.
A Hidden Oasis on Half an Acre
The villa's 4,500 sq. ft. of living space are completely invisible from the road — by design. A canopy of fully grown coconut, jackfruit, mango, and chikoo trees lines the approach, while the landscaped front garden with its tranquil fishpond forms a natural curtain. Step inside and you enter a private world: lush tropical grounds, a charming old well with sweet water, and the sound of birdsong replacing everything else.

Five beautifully appointed bedrooms, five bathrooms (four ensuite), a gracious dining room, a living room with media centre, a lounge overlooking the garden, and a well-stocked library.
