À propos de cette location de vacances
Chalet dei Brisi is a unique chalet nestled in the woods of the former ENI Village in Borca di Cadore, with a stunning unobstructed view of Monte Pelmo. Designed by architect Edoardo Gellner, it is a rare example of modernist Alpine architecture where design, functionality, and nature coexist in perfect harmony. The large panoramic windows flood the rooms with natural light in every season, creating a warm and relaxing atmosphere.
The chalet is a single-story structure and has been recently renovated, preserving the iconic original mahogany furnishings designed by Gellner: elegant, practical, and designed for everyday comfort. It is the ideal choice for families and groups seeking space, tranquility, and an authentic mountain experience, just a short distance from Cortina d’Ampezzo.
The entrance is spacious and functional, with a dedicated closet for jackets, boots, skis, and sports equipment. It’s also designed as a place to leave your shoes before entering; comfortable slippers are available for all guests to wear indoors.
The large living room, with a dining table for 10 people and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Mount Pelmo, is the heart of the home: perfect for relaxing, reading, or sharing long, convivial lunches and dinners. Adjacent to the living area is a TV room separated by a sliding door, featuring a double sofa bed—ideal for ensuring privacy and flexibility in the layout of the spaces. There is also a small desk and a selection of board games.
The bright kitchen, with a view, is fully equipped for even medium- to long-term stays: dishwasher, conventional oven, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, immersion blender, and food processor. Perfect for those who love to cook even while on vacation.
The two bedrooms are comfortable and well-organized. The master bedroom boasts a magnificent view of Mount Pelmo. The second bedroom can accommodate up to four people thanks to “fold-down” designer bunk beds, which are particularly popular with children and teenagers. Both rooms feature closets and dressers. A travel crib is available for young children. Bedding, pillows, extra comforters, and blankets are included.
The two practical, brightly colored bathrooms are designed for maximum functionality: one is equipped with a shower and a washing machine. Towels, shampoo, body wash, and a hair dryer are always provided.
Outside, a sunny terrace with lounge chairs and folding chairs offers an unobstructed view of Mount Pelmo and is ideal for relaxing on the nicest days, no matter the season. All rooms are heated and equipped with Wi-Fi.
A large private parking lot is available in front of the chalet. Next to the entrance, there is also a lockable storage area for skis and bicycles—convenient and secure for all your sports equipment.
The chalet is nestled in a vast forest, perfect for peaceful walks and moments of relaxation surrounded by nature. In winter, the slopes of the Dolomiti Superski area are easily accessible: Cortina d’Ampezzo is about 15 km away, while the ski lifts in San Vito di Cadore are just 3 km away. During the winter season, a ski bus service runs from the Corte delle Dolomiti Village to the main slopes in the area.
In summer, the area offers hikes to mountain huts and scenic peaks, bike trails, and outdoor activities. The “Lunga Via delle Dolomiti” bike trail passes nearby and connects Calalzo, Cortina, Dobbiaco, San Candido, and Lienz. The San Vito–Chiapuzza rock climbing area is also located about 6 km away.
Just a short walk from the chalet, you’ll find a scenic spa with a pool, sauna, and wellness center (open year-round; reservations recommended), a high-quality restaurant and brewery, a small riding stable, and an adventure park for children. Guests staying at the residences of the former ENI Village receive a special discount at the spa.
The chalet is part of the “Corte delle Dolomiti” complex, which ensures maintenance of the common areas and snow removal in winter. Within the village, there is also a charming church designed by Carlo Scarpa—a must-see for architecture enthusiasts.
Strategically located, especially in light of the 2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics.
