Welcome to Balsam Lane, a cozy Tahoe retreat tucked on a quiet street in the Pineland and Tahoe Park neighborhood of Tahoe City. This inviting mountain cabin offers level access, comfortable living spaces, and an unbeatable location just a short walk to Sunnyside Resort and Restaurant and minutes from the lake.
One of the home’s most coveted features is private access to the Tahoe Park Association beach, available exclusively to guests. Enjoy a beautifully maintained private lakefront with a pier, buoy field, swimming area, picnic tables, BBQs, and panoramic views of Lake Tahoe. It is one of the West Shore’s most sought after private beaches and a true summer highlight.
Step inside to a warm, open living area with a large stone fireplace, perfect for relaxing after a day outdoors. The adjoining kitchen and dining area are fully equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, electric range, and everything you need for easy vacation living.
The home’s layout is ideal for families or small groups:
Main Level: Living room, kitchen and dining area, one bedroom, and a full bathroom with a tub and shower.
Upper Level: Two additional bedrooms and another full bathroom with a tub and shower.
Enjoy fast Wi Fi, a smart TV with streaming, and the convenience of a washer and dryer during your stay.
In summer, spend your days at the private Tahoe Park beach, stroll to the lake, bike along the West Shore Trail, or explore nearby beaches and hiking. In winter, you are a short drive to Homewood Mountain Resort and Palisades Tahoe, with easy access to snowshoeing and sledding right out your front door.

• No parties or events. This home is in a quiet residential neighborhood.
• Quiet hours are 10 PM to 8 AM.
• Parking: 2 to 3 cars in the driveway. No street parking between November 1 and May 1 due to snow removal.
• Cleaning fee: $165, includes linens and towels.
• Taxes and fees: 10 percent tax, $50 reservation fee, and $39 damage protection plan apply.
• Holiday rates may vary.

Host was very helpful and responds very quickly. Older house with some upgrades & it was clean. No real issues. Quiet area with easy access to lake.
