Staff very helpful. Food from the restaurant was excellent and the service was quick and efficient. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. Had a walk around the grounds in the morning and the house looked really good.
The room and whole hotel for that matter was very clean and tidy. I think housekeeping must have been in a little bit of a rush as they had left a wine glass in the bathroom complete with wine. really no big deal though.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was convenient for us and quiet. Breakfast was very good.
The TV (Freeview and BBC) was quite hard to operate.
The dinner menu was a bit limited.

The food at dinner and at breakfast was very good.
All staff that we met were friendly and helpful making us feel relaxed and welcome.
Large room, large TV and good bed.
Easy parking and fantastic stained glass window overlooking the stairway.
Only one chair (at the desk) for dual occupancy even though there was ample room at the end of the bed to have a couple of easy chairs and a small table. We do not enjoy having to lie on a bed to watch TV.
No toilet brush.
Plastic bag fastened around smoke alarm sensor. Reported to receptionist who assured s that this would be investigated and corrected.
Lack of live TV. Reception is limited to streaming services plus a couple of 24hr news channels.
