Al Soffiador

We absolutely loved the location of the hotel. It’s literally a two-minute walk from the nearest vaporetto stop, in a quiet and charming part of Murano, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The location was also very convenient for taking boats to Venice and Burano, and it was easy to purchase tickets right at the boat station. The building itself is historic and has plenty of character. While the room was a little cozy for three people, it was very comfortable, clean, and well maintained. Our room was on the top floor, and the AC worked exceptionally well, which was much appreciated. The beds were also incredibly comfortable. What really stood out was the warm hospitality. The host and everyone we met at the nearby restaurant and around the neighborhood were incredibly welcoming and made us feel very well taken care of. Breakfast was served each morning and was a lovely touch. Overall, a wonderful stay in a peaceful and authentic part of Murano, with great transport connections and genuinely warm hospitality. We would happily stay here again!

Small room and very small bathroom. Could have benefitted from a good hoover. Tea bags provided but no coffee

Rooms were small and very basic but the beds were comfortable and bathrooms were okay & good-sized. Despite the spartan room, we even had hot water kettle (very much appreciated) and good hot water supply in shower. Location was good, very close to vaporetto station (Murano faro). Nice & quiet location far from the craziness of San Marco island.

Housekeeping. Our rooms were partially cleaned on a daily basis (we stayed 3 nights). The cleaning staff fixes bed & replaces towels but doesn’t sweep/vacuum floors or vice-versa. Housekeeping needs much improvement.
