At times, guests staying at Sterling Shores may experience temporary disruptions, including the closure of certain amenities and restricted access to balconies. Balcony and walkway closures should only affect the 11th and 3rd floor units at this time. Additionally, this complex will be undergoing a re-roofing project scheduled from May-July of 2027, weather permitting. Please contact our reservation team if you have questions regarding the balcony closure dates or re-roofing dates for this property. Sterling Shores is a gated, 11-story complex in the heart of Destin. Boasting a 4300 sq.ft. private lagoon pool, gulf front pool, commercial grill area, BBQ grills, picnic area, and exercise room, located on 9 acres of lush tropical landscaping with 240 ft of beach. Be sure to take advantage of the new bike rack available for owner and guest use in the East Garage next to the ice machines. Beach service is available for guests to purchase for an additional fee. The beach pool is heated from November to May, depending on temperatures. The lagoon pool is not heated.

Only one elevator worked through the whole resort so that was a huge inconvenience. We had to call for soap as there as none in the entire condo. it wasn’t as clean as it looked in the pictures and it could use some upgraded cooking pans.
