Welcome to the BiberLOFT on the Danube.

The loft is a unique, high-end apartment built with natural materials on the first floor, overlooking the Danube Garden and the Stelzenhütte, and offering direct access to and views of the breathtaking Danube, nature, and the Danube Harbor.

It combines regional and high-quality natural materials, upcycled reclaimed wood, and state-of-the-art, sophisticated in-room technology, making it a wonderful place for families, groups of friends, water sports enthusiasts, and nature lovers.

The Accommodation
The BiberLOFT measures 40 m², features its own small, fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with a shower and a separate toilet made of natural materials, and offers direct access to the Danube Garden, the Stelzenhütte/sauna with a lounge area, and the Danube embankment.

Inside the loft itself are two “flying beds” made from reclaimed wood, which can be used either standing on the floor or suspended at a lofty height (with fall protection around the bed and a ladder). Both beds offer a breathtaking view of the Danube, as well as the screen—perfect for great movie nights, for example.
The higher the beds, the better the view of the Danube, wildlife, and nature.
This also creates additional space underneath the beds for a lounge area, table, game corner, a dog area, etc.
The room provides guests with their own laptop for streaming TV, a sophisticated, hidden sound system, and lighting designed by Michael himself (a master lighting designer for events) featuring dimmable spotlights and LED color lighting.

The rustic, natural-style kitchen, featuring plenty of stone elements, is fully equipped with 2 stovetop burners, an oven, a refrigerator, a kettle, a Senseo coffee maker, a dishwasher, a sink, dishes, silverware, and pots.

The wood-burning stove, positioned facing the Danube at chest height, creates a perfect harmony between the element of fire and the element of water in the Danube, as well as the element of earth with the view of the vast natural landscape. (Currently heated by candles—stove connection to follow in summer 2023)

Another highlight is the naturally built bathroom. Terracotta flooring with underfloor heating throughout the bathroom and toilet, along with clay plaster mixed with Swiss stone pine shavings, a natural wood ceiling, a shower tray made of Danube pebbles, and wood paneling in the shower, create a truly special shower experience.

If you’d like to book the fantastic stilt sauna as well, be sure to reserve it at the time of your booking, as it’s often fully booked.

Guest access
Access to the BiberLOFT is via code entry at the access doors (inside the building, in the Danube Garden, and from the Danube embankment). From the Danube, you have direct access to your bathroom/restroom, where you can hang up your clothes right away.
Dogs are also welcome at the BiberLOFT.
