The room was newly renovated and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The location in general was very good and our view of lake Michigan was pretty cool. The pool looked nice although we didn't use it. We really wanted to use the hot tub but it was not operating.
The staff was friendly and there was a nice little free continental breakfast in the lobby.
The Roku TV was a bit complicated (for streaming) but we ended up figuring it out; I imagine that some folks wouldn't have been able to.

We really enjoyed all the renovations to this location— so happy that someone has finally invested in sprucing up accommodations in the UP. Every year we come through this area and have always had to put up with dumpy accommodations because there is nothing nice to pick from. So BRAVO to the Manistique Sands!

Access to private beach was cool. Indoor pool was also very nice. Hot tub was out of order and I wasn’t able to use the Roku tv because it wasn’t fully set up. Overall a nice hotel

The location was great, the room (newly renovated) was impeccably clean and well appointed and the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The property is in the midst of improvements but none of this hampered our stay and (for us) emphasized that the owners are working to improve the experience of their customers. Our room had a wonderful view of Lake Michigan (it looks like many of the rooms do) and it was great to actually be able to walk right across the street and experience the beauty first hand. We would definitely stay here again!
