Welcome to Happy Tides Hideaway, a beautifully designed, family-friendly retreat on Oak Island, NC, where coastal relaxation meets unforgettable family fun. With plenty of space for everyone, a private heated pool, a dedicated kids adventure room, and thoughtfully designed indoor and outdoor spaces, this is the perfect place to make beach-house memories with family and friends.
🏡 The Home
This spacious 4-bedroom, 3.5-bath home comfortably sleeps up to 14 guests and was designed with both families and groups in mind.
Enjoy a bright, comfortable interior with high-end finishes, multiple gathering spaces, and everything you need for a relaxing coastal getaway. The large screened porch is a favorite gathering spot, with two TVs and plenty of room to relax after a day at the beach or pool.
The home also features a well-appointed kitchen, coffee bar, outdoor shower, grill, ample parking, and comfortable spaces throughout the house for everyone to spread out.
🏊 Private Heated Pool
Step outside and enjoy your own private pool, perfect for cooling off, relaxing, and keeping the kids entertained without leaving the house.
Pool heating is available for $100 per night, plus applicable taxes.
Because the pool is heated by an air-source heat pump, its ability to heat and maintain the water temperature depends on the outdoor air temperature. When outdoor temperatures are below approximately 55°F, the heater may not be able to effectively heat or maintain the pool temperature.
If temperatures are too cold for the heater to operate effectively or maintain a comfortable pool temperature, the pool-heating fee will be refunded for the affected period, as appropriate. Please understand that a specific pool temperature cannot be guaranteed during unusually cold weather.
🧗 Kids Adventure Room
The kids may decide this is their favorite room in the house!
Our dedicated Kids Adventure Room gives children a place to burn off energy and have their own adventure without ever leaving the property. The room features climbing and adventure elements, including elevated play areas, ropes, balls, and other activities designed for active play.
It’s the perfect rainy-day escape or a great way for the kids to have fun while the adults relax.
A separate Kids Adventure Room waiver is required prior to arrival.

When you’re ready to venture out, you’re just minutes from the beach, Intracoastal Waterway, local restaurants, shops, and all the outdoor fun Oak Island has to offer.
Whether your perfect vacation means spending the day at the beach, relaxing by the pool, watching the kids conquer the adventure room, or gathering together on the screened porch at night, Happy Tides Hideaway gives everyone room to relax, play, and make memories.

💳 Refundable Security Deposit
A $750 refundable security deposit is required for your stay.
The deposit is intended to cover accidental damage or other charges that may occur during the reservation. It is not a fee and is refundable provided there are no eligible damages, excessive cleaning charges, missing items, or other charges under the rental agreement.
The security deposit is collected 2 days prior to check-in and is generally released within 2 days after checkout, subject to inspection of the property.
A rental agreement and required pool/Kids Adventure Room waivers must be completed prior to arrival. Early Check-In & Late Checkout
We’re happy to offer early check-in or late checkout when our schedule allows!
• Early check-in: $50 per hour
• Late checkout: $50 per hour
