“For me, Brannenburg is the most beautiful village in the world”—says Daniela Christoforetti
Life here flows to the rhythm of the Inn, with the river of the same name, the Wendelstein Mountains, and Lake Chiemsee right on your doorstep. Rosenheim, Bad Aibling, and Kuftstein (Tyrol) are the main towns in the immediate vicinity. It takes about 60 minutes to reach Munich, Salzburg, and Innsbruck. Kitzbühel and the Wilder Kaiser are about 40 minutes away. From Brannenburg, the A93 highway leads directly to Italy. The Brannenburg train station is so close that the quickest way to get there is on foot.
There’s plenty going on in the health resort town of Brannenburg. The town is considered a model for its attractive blend of tradition, village atmosphere, and modern lifestyle. In other words: It’s a cool place.
Our former apartment has become too small for us now that our family has grown. Over the past 15 years, many friends from near and far have repeatedly spent vacations with us and “looked after” our apartment whenever we weren’t home. Everyone has always raved about what a great vacation they had with us—now we’re opening our beloved apartment to the “public” and want to rent it out as a vacation rental.
Of course, we’ll continue to live in this wonderful village and are usually able to get there pretty quickly—should any questions arise or if you need suggestions for day trips.
