Avoid this accommodation

This is one of the biggest disappointments I have experienced. For the price we paid, we received an average accommodation that was worth about half of what we actually paid. The listing stated that the apartment had a washing machine. Since we were travelling with a small child, this was very important to us for hygiene reasons. However, the owner told us that machine doesn't work. Furthermore, the bed linen and towels are not changed at all during a 10-day stay. In every other accommodation we have stayed in the usual practice is to change bed linen and towels after five days. When we asked whether we could pay extra and receive an additional set of towels and bed linen, the owner told us that he lives 100 km away and therefore could not come to change them. We then suggested that he simply leave us an extra set of towels and bed linen in advance so that we could change them ourselves after five days. His response was, and I quote: “I have just read the rules on Airbnb. I can only leave you one towel and one set of bed linen per person; that is the law.” There are no conventional doors between the rooms or in front of the toilet/bathroom. Instead, there are sliding doors that cannot be fully closed, which means that the bathroom does not provide a proper sense of privacy. We did not have direct contact with the owner. He left the key in a locker, which was perfectly fine with us — we have no problem with self check-in. However, it was extremely difficult to lock and unlock the main entrance door. The hygiene in the accommodation was also not at a satisfactory level. The water pressure from the bathroom tap was extremely weak, to the point where the water was barely running. The terrace faces directly onto a busy street, and it is very noisy in the evening. Every motorbike passing by can easily wake up anyone sleeping in the room facing the street. To conclude, avoid this accommodation.

We had to leave this apartment shortly after arriving because it was not as advertised.
The photos and description on the listing were misleading and did not accurately represent the actual condition of the apartment. The property was in a much poorer condition than expected.
One of our biggest concerns was the bathroom. There was a notice stating that the water heater must be switched off before taking a shower due to the risk of electric shock. This information was never disclosed in the listing. As we were travelling with small children, this raised serious safety concerns and made us feel unsafe staying at the property.
In addition, the bathroom was not properly cleaned, the water pressure was extremely poor, and the bed was uncomfortable and of very poor quality. Overall, the apartment did not meet basic expectations for cleanliness, comfort, or the standard presented in the listing.
Because of these issues, we decided to leave the apartment early. Booking.com Customer Service became involved after we reported the problems.
We cannot recommend this property based on our experience.
