What we guarantee: Both condos are always inside the Regency at Poipu Kai complex, whether they share a building or sit in separate buildings, and always within a 2-3 minute walk of each other along the garden paths. Unit A is a 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom condo and Unit B is a 3-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom condo, with exactly the beds listed below in every bedroom. Unit A's living room looks down over the resort pool and gardens, and its master bedroom opens onto a private lanai among the palms; Unit B's covered lanai looks over the treetops to the mountains. Both homes are kept to the same standard you see in these photos. If we ever could not deliver that, you would approve the alternative first or receive a full refund.

The 6 bedrooms sleep 12 guests at 2 per bedroom, and the sleeper sofa in each living room sleeps 2 more, adding 4 additional guests for a combined maximum of 16.



Unit A is the home over the pool: a living room with a grey sectional, two swivel chairs and a wall-mounted TV, a dining table for six under a vaulted ceiling, and a kitchen with cream cabinets, granite counters, stainless appliances and a breakfast bar. The king master suite has a bathroom with a double vanity, a soaking tub and a tiled walk-in shower, and its own lanai with two chairs and a table facing the palms. The queen bedroom uses a full bath with a tub-shower, and the twin bedroom sits upstairs under a vaulted ceiling with the third full bath beside it.



Unit B is the home in the treetops: a vaulted shiplap living room with a leather sofa, a second sofa and a wall-mounted TV, a dining table for four, and a white kitchen with quartz counters, stainless appliances and a breakfast bar with three stools. The king master has a four-poster bed, an en-suite bathroom with a double vanity and tub-shower, and a door to its own small balcony. The queen bedroom is on the same level, and a carpeted staircase leads up to the loft bedroom with a twin-over-twin bunk bed and an adjoining full bathroom with a tiled walk-in shower; a half bath serves the living level. A stacked washer and dryer are in a closet off the kitchen.



Good to know before you book: each condo has its own front door and its own entry details, so the two groups come and go independently. Both homes are upstairs units in two-storey buildings, each with a flight of stairs up to the front door and an interior staircase to the third bedroom, so tell us if stairs are a concern. Free parking is on site, every bedroom and living room has its own air conditioning unit plus ceiling fans, and there is a 4-night minimum with check-in from 3 PM and check-out by 11 AM.

The living room sofa is a sleeper for two more guests, bringing this home's total to 8. The master bedroom has a king bed, a wall-mounted TV, a sliding door to a private lanai with two chairs and a table among the palms, and an en-suite bathroom with a double vanity, a soaking tub and a tiled walk-in shower. The second bedroom has a queen bed and uses a full bathroom with a tub-shower. A staircase leads up to the third bedroom, which has two twin beds under a vaulted ceiling and a full bathroom with a tub-shower beside it. Your reservation includes the private interiors of both Unit A and Unit B, each with its own front door and its own entry details, plus the shared Regency at Poipu Kai resort amenities: the community pool, hot tub, tennis courts, barbecue areas and the landscaped grounds. Free parking is on site. Arrival instructions, entry details and parking information for each condo are sent before check-in.



The Neighborhood:

Regency at Poipu Kai sits inside the Poipu Kai resort on Kauai's sunny South Shore, with garden paths leading toward the coast. Shipwreck Beach, Brennecke's Beach and Poipu Beach Park are all a short walk or drive away, with sheltered swimming, snorkeling and regular sea turtle and monk seal sightings. Poipu Shopping Village and Kukui'ula Village put restaurants and shops within easy reach, and the broader area adds Spouting Horn blowhole, the National Tropical Botanical Garden, the historic Koloa town center, the Maha'ulepu Heritage Trail along the coast, and restaurants such as The Beach House, Merriman's and Tidepools. The South Shore's reliable sunshine and calm bay waters make it the preferred base on Kauai for beach-focused groups.



Getting Around:

Lihue Airport (LIH) is the gateway to Kauai and is about 25-30 minutes away by car. A rental car is strongly recommended for this stay - it is the standard choice for visitors to the South Shore and gives the group the flexibility to reach beaches, Waimea Canyon and the North Shore on their own schedule. Rideshare exists on Kauai but coverage is more limited than on the mainland, so pre-arranging transportation or relying on a rental is advisable. Within the immediate Poipu area, the beaches, the Poipu Kai grounds and Poipu Shopping Village are close enough to reach on foot from the complex.
