À propos de cette location de vacances
A single-level ocean-view home at the north end of Sea Ranch, about 1/4 mile from the bluff trail, with a deck facing the water, a window seat, a wood stove with firewood provided, and a commercial gas range. Three bedrooms sleep 6 (king, queen, and a double-over-twin bunk) with 2 baths. Del Mar's heated pool is about 1/2 mile.
The Space:
You'll walk in and head straight for the window seat. The living room at Toto House faces the water, and the deck outside it does too, with the coast about a quarter mile off and nothing tall between you and the horizon. This is the north end of Sea Ranch, where the bluff trail runs along the edge and the Del Mar pool is a short drive.
You'll build the first fire in the wood stove the night you arrive; the baskets beside it stay stocked with firewood, kindling, and starters. On the nights the fog wins, there's a TV with Roku in the living room. In the kitchen you'll cook on a commercial gas range, the heavy kind that holds its heat and makes dinner for six feel easy.
You won't climb a single stair here. The primary bedroom gives you a king, the second a queen, and the third a bunk bed with a double on the bottom and a twin on top, for kids or a mixed group, with two baths between them and a washer and dryer tucked in for longer stays. When the afternoon cools, the deck chairs outside face the sunset.
KITCHEN & DINING
The gas range is the centerpiece, with a dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and blender around it. The dining area opens toward the deck, so dinner can move outside when the evening is warm.

OUT THE DOOR
The bluff trail and the coast are about 1/4 mile. Del Mar's heated pool, sauna, and courts are about 1/2 mile. The Sea Ranch Lodge and Shell Beach are about 3.6 miles south; Ohlson about 5 miles.

Guest Access:
The whole house is yours, deck included. Two cars park in the driveway (the garage stays closed), and the entry code we send before arrival opens the door. The Sea Ranch recreation pass comes with the stay, so the heated pools, saunas, and courts at the rec centers are yours to use.
The Neighborhood:
Toto House is at the north end of The Sea Ranch, about 1/4 mile from the bluff trail and the coast. The Del Mar recreation center, with a heated pool, sauna, and courts, is about 1/2 mile. Gualala Point Regional Park is about 1 mile. Gualala, with its market, restaurants, and galleries, is about 1.75 miles north on Highway 1. The Sea Ranch Lodge and Shell Beach are about 3.6 miles south along the coast, and the Ohlson recreation center about 5 miles. Golf at the Sea Ranch Links is optional and paid.
Getting Around:
San Francisco is about 2.5 hours: Highway 101 north to Highway 1, then up the coast to the north end of Sea Ranch. Charles M. Schulz–Sonoma County Airport in Santa Rosa is about 1.5 hours by car. You'll drive to the market and to Del Mar; the bluff trail is the walk.
Other Things to Note:
The range is a commercial gas model and the pilot stays lit, so a faint gas smell at the stove is normal. Light the burners with the lighter in the drawer to the right of the stove.
Firewood, kindling, and fire starters are in the baskets beside the wood stove. A space heater is stored in each bedroom closet.
The living-room TV runs on Roku; sign in with your own accounts.
The coast is about 1/4 mile, a short walk rather than a step off the deck. Del Mar's pool is about 1/2 mile and shared with the community, so holiday afternoons are busy.
The house is on one level.
Night lighting at Sea Ranch is kept low. A flashlight is the right tool for the driveway.
Gray whales move offshore from December through April; the bluff trail, about 1/4 mile, is the lookout.
Cell service comes and goes up here. The house WiFi is the steady line.
