BEDROOM:
The apartment has one bedroom; which features a queen-size bed and a pull-out sofa bed with a full-size mattress (Keep in mind that a sofa bed will never be as comfortable as a regular bed; however, this one has a memory foam mattress, and we’ll set it up for you upon request). The sofa bed area can be separated from the bed by a curtain; please note that the space is reduced when you use it.

BATHROOM:
The bedroom has a small walk-in closet and a full bathroom at the back. The bathroom has an electric washer-dryer.

LIVING ROOM:
In the common area, you’ll find the kitchen, a dining area for 6 people, a living room for 6 people, and a half-bath, which is ideal for entertaining guests. Right there, you’ll see a beautiful window overlooking Avenida Independencia; how you use it is up to you—you can open it to let in fresh air or keep it closed and use only the fan and the air conditioner in the bedroom.

KITCHENETTE:
The kitchenette has a refrigerator and freezer, a 2-burner induction cooktop (If you have any questions about how to use it, please read the manual we’ll leave for you), a microwave, an electric kettle, a toaster, a blender, and all the necessary utensils and seasonings for cooking.

LOCATION:
The apartment is in a prime location, across from the San Pablo Cultural Center and half a block from the Alcalá Theater, on Avenida de la Independencia. This is a street with continuous car traffic (there are NO public transit buses traveling on it), so during peak traffic hours, if the window facing the street is open, traffic noise will enter. If this double-paned window is closed, light still enters, but the noise does not. If you want to keep the sun out, simply close the wooden doors, and you’ll have total darkness.
It’s worth noting that this is the only window that faces the outside.

The apartment is located in a building shared with two other apartments. The building’s maximum occupancy is 11 people. As in any apartment building, you may hear occupants of adjacent apartments going up and down the stairs or moving furniture. Therefore, if noise from neighbors bothers you, please take this into consideration when making your reservation.

The bedroom is located at the far end of the apartment, so if all windows and doors are closed, you won’t hear any noise and will sleep peacefully.

For the guest’s safety, there are no gas lines inside the apartment; everything is located on the ceiling in a ventilated area, so the washer-dryer is electric, which means the drying cycle takes two hours. Oaxaca has a dry climate, so we recommend drying your laundry outdoors.

REGARDING NOISE:
The historic center of Oaxaca is a multicultural place, full of traditions and delicious food; an essential part of our customs includes folklore and music, which can often cause unexpected noise during celebrations. In addition, some neighbors have dogs as guard animals and some farm animals, such as roosters. This may disturb your sleep; with this in mind, we make sure to include earplugs in the first-aid kit for you to use if needed.

CLIMATE CHANGE:
Dear guest, when confirming your reservation, please check the weather forecast for our city during the dates you plan to visit. This will give you an idea of the current temperature and whether you should expect rain or other weather events. This will help enhance your experience. and please remember that, as mentioned above, we only have air conditioning in the bedrooms, not in the common areas

Guest Policies

I. ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF THE RULES
These guest rules will be in effect from May 2025 through May 2026. By making a reservation, the guest expressly and implicitly acknowledges that they accept and are fully aware of these rules, and that they agree to and comply with all the provisions set forth herein; it is the guest’s obligation to read these rules and act in accordance with them.

II. PAYMENT FOR ACCOMMODATIONS
A reservation is confirmed only upon receipt of at least 20% of the total amount for accommodations, including taxes. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the start of the stay; if the remaining balance is not received, the reservation will be immediately canceled, thereby releasing AALOJAT from any liability to the guest, The minimum 20% required as a deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE after the dates specified in the policies.

III. CHECK-IN
Check-in time for the room is from 3:00 p.m. onward, and check-out time must be no later than 11:00 a.m. Management reserves the right to grant an early check-in if the property is available earlier, as well as to grant a late check-out if availability exists for the desired date; however, there is no obligation to grant these benefits even if the guest requests them.

IV. CARE OF THE PROPERTY
We recommend that you review the room inventory upon arrival, since, at checkout, it will be inspected, and in the event of any missing items or damage, the guest will be responsible for covering the costs, which will be charged in Mexican pesos to replace the item or repair the damage.

V. USE OF UTILITIES
The utilities (water, electricity, gas, etc.) provided by the owners must be used in good faith; wasteful or excessive use of these utilities is not included in the price, helping us keep rates affordable and protect the environment; upon leaving the room, every guest is required to close the windows, front doors, and water valves, and to turn off lights and air conditioners.

VI. PROPERTY CLEANING
The company’s properties offer different included services, as well as amenities, locations, and designs. Not all properties include cleaning services; however, you can confirm whether or not this applies to your stay in the manual sent to you for check-in. In that document, you can see whether you are entitled to this service or if you must pay a fee. If cleaning is included, you must request it in advance, and it will be performed between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. at the latest. Guests may opt for daily cleaning or accept the hosts’ suggestion. We recommend making the request well in advance, as it is subject to availability. Guests who do not make their rooms available during those hours will not receive cleaning services. Linens, such as towels and bed sheets, will be replaced after a 7-day stay, at which time the room will also be cleaned. If you require them before this date, there will be an additional charge. Stains on sheets that can be easily removed will incur an additional charge of MXN $50.00 per item. (Face towels are excluded.) Linen items with stains that cannot be removed (such as those caused by hair dye, paint, rust, sauce, permanent markers, etc.) will be charged at the cost of a new item in Mexican pesos; we will inform you of the exact amount if this occurs. (See the attached table).

VII. SECURITY MEASURES WITHIN THE ROOM
Any item or cash valued at more than $ $250.00 s must be reported to management before the start of the stay so that its existence can be verified and a record made that it will be in the room. Guests must store their valuables in the safety deposit boxes located on the premises. Management is not responsible for any loss or misplacement of items or cash left in the rooms or in the public areas of the properties that have not been registered.

VIII. LOST AND FOUND
Items or valuables left behind by a guest at any of our properties’ facilities will be held by management for up to fifteen days; after this period, they will be disposed of as lost property. If the guest wishes to retrieve them, shipping costs will be the guest’s responsibility, and the guest agrees to pay an additional 25% to cover the time spent by our employees on this additional task.

IX. QUIET AND RESPECT FOR OTHER GUESTS AND HOTEL STAFF
Starting at 9:00 p.m., noise levels must be kept to a minimum in all rooms and units. Please also respect quiet hours in the hallways, stairwells, and common areas, avoiding any behavior that may disturb other guests at the resort, including loud music and loud conversations. Parties are prohibited unless the entire resort is rented out. In the event of a violation of the preceding rule, if the guest is asked to end the party or gathering and refuses, management is authorized to terminate the stay immediately without any possibility of a refund. If we are unable to contact the guest, a fine of MXN $1,500.00 will be imposed, which must be paid in cash before the day of checkout. Otherwise, a payment request will be submitted through the app.

X. DAMAGE, DIRTY ROOMS, LOST KEYS
In the event of damage to the property or its furnishings, or if keys are lost, the person responsible must pay for the damage
