Our stay at the Backyard Bungalow was, without question, the best vacation rental we've ever experienced! From the moment we arrived, Steve and Dana made us feel less like guests and more like family. Their warmth and hospitality set the tone for an unforgettable two-week getaway.The home itself was exceptionally comfortable, beautifully maintained, and had everything we could have possibly needed. The backyard oasis was simply amazing! Our grandchildren absolutely fell in love with the pool and spent countless hours laughing, splashing, and making memories we'll treasure forever.One of the most charming surprises was the neighboring miniature ponies, who greeted us each day and brought smiles to everyone in our family. It truly felt like we had escaped to the peaceful countryside, yet we were still just a short drive from Dallas—making it the perfect blend of country charm and city convenience.Every day was filled with fun, relaxation, and special family moments. If you're looking for a place where you can unwind, reconnect, and experience genuine Texas hospitality, the Backyard Bungalow is the place to be.Thank you, Steve and Dana, for opening your beautiful home and treating us like family. We left with wonderful memories and can't wait to return. Five stars simply aren't enough!

My family and I had a wonderful time. This is in the beautiful rolling farmland/ranches area, not in the hustle and bustle of the city. So prepare to relax! The kids loved the pool while the adults sat in the lovely shade. The bathroom was beautiful with a very nice shower. We didn't really use the kitchen so can't speak to that. The large king sized bed was very comfy. The next door neighbors are mini-horses! The sign said do not feed or pet, but we did take some photos of them- very cute.
