2 Seatown is a newly renovated coastal cottage in the quiet and historic Seatown area of Lossiemouth, designed to be warm, accessible and environmentally responsible. The single-storey layout features wide doorways and level access, making it suitable for guests with reduced mobility and for relaxed, easy holidays. It has achieved an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) at the highest level, reducing the property’s carbon footprint.

The cottage is ideal for two guests, with provision for a third via a sofa bed in the open-plan living area. Snuggle round a real wood burning stove in the winter or gaze out the window over the river, towards the Esplanade, new bridge to the East Beach and beyond the dunes to the sea. The view is ever changing, depending on the height of the tide and the weather and is always appealing - sitting in the lounge is an ideal spot for people watching! Dogs are welcome and there are flat coastal walks from the door. Stop off for a delicious ice cream on your way to the beach!

There is an open patio area just in front of the cottage and an off road parking area, with an EV charger which guests are welcome to use at cost. The cottage has proven to be very popular ever since we welcomed our first guests in May 2026.

Lossiemouth is a beautiful base to explore the area. It has 2 wide beautiful beaches, a good selection of cafes, coffee shops, restaurants and take aways. It is an ideal spot for a bit of fast jet spotting, with RAF Lossiemouth in the vicinity. There is a plenty of opportunity to appreciate the wildlife and nature: red squirrels are to be found in the Lossie woods by the river, ospreys can be seen fishing in the river in season, you can take a fast rib (North 58) in search of the resident bottlenose dolphins, tho' they can also be seen from a landbased viewing spot if you are lucky! In the summer the days are nearly endless. On those darker nights you may have a chance of seeing the elusive aurora borealis or Northern Lights - or a dramatic sunrise at a much more civilised time of day!

You don't have to travel far for other things to do! Visit the impressive ruins of Elgin Cathedral, the Lantern of the North or Johnston's Cashmere Woolen mill and shop in Elgin, visit one of the many famous Malt Whisky distilleries, visit Findhorn and it's stunning bay, or Culben Forest where scenes from Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey were filmed. Whether you're a film fan, history enthusiast, walker or nature lover, there are plenty of places to explore connected to the film and the region's rich heritage.

But don't come here if you are looking for amusement arcades and discos!!
