The cozy vacation home Am Wangermeer 38 is located one block from the lake—the private natural beach with a reed-lined shore is less than a minute’s walk away. Here you can enjoy peace, nature, and relaxation right on the water.

On the first floor of the house, you’ll find a bright living area with access to the patio, an open kitchen with a cozy dining area, and a modern bathroom with a shower. There is also a bedroom with a French double bed—ideal for a comfortable stay without having to climb stairs. A practical utility room is also located on the first floor.

Upstairs, you’ll find three additional bedrooms: two with two single beds each and one with a large double bed. A spacious bathroom with a bathtub and a storage room round out the living space.

The garden with a terrace offers plenty of space to relax or enjoy social gatherings outdoors—ideal for families with children. The health resort of Hohenkirchen offers everything you need for a thoroughly enjoyable vacation: Shopping, two bakeries, a pharmacy, and medical care are all available right in town. Thanks to its central location, you can reach the North Sea in just a few minutes by car or bike. The cities of Jever and Wilhelmshaven are also within easy reach and invite you to take a stroll through town or enjoy cultural excursions.

A special highlight for families is the Nordsee-Spielstadt Wangerland—an approximately 5,000 m² indoor amusement park that’s open rain or shine. Here, children and parents can spend an exciting day together, enjoying a roller coaster, chain carousel, bumper cars, climbing area, ship swing, sandbox, toddler play area, and much more. The climatic health resort of Hohenkirchen (Zone 2) is subject to a visitor’s tax. Therefore, a visitor’s tax must be paid on site. This tax is based on the number of people, age, and length of stay. The following are exempt from the visitor’s tax:
a) Children up to and including age 3.
b) Severely disabled persons whose “degree of disability” (formerly: reduced earning capacity) is 100% according to an official ID card.
c) Severely disabled persons who, according to their official ID card, are completely dependent on constant assistance (marked with a “B” on the ID card). This means: regardless of the degree of disability (e.g., GdB 80% and designation “B”).
d) Companions of severely disabled persons who, according to their official ID card, are completely dependent on constant assistance.
