This is a very cozy home, felt like at home with all the decorations in the house. The owners, Jerry and Lisa provided a lot of things you'd find at home. House was also very clean. They provided snacks, lots of board games, hot tub, towels and amenities. We didn't have enough time to try them out, but all of it seemed very good!
We loved how spacious bathroom was and the washing machine/dryer. They were very easy to use! We loved that there were so many lights in the house including motion sensor lights on the stairs.
Florence is a bit chilly in late September/October and rains a lot. The heat pump was very effective at keeping the house warm.
There were 3 rooms, 2 queen sized and 2 twin beds. Lots of options and very spacious for 3 people. Lisa and Jerry are very enthusiastic, we enjoyed their cute messages throughout the home 😊 We had a very relaxing time there and enjoyed our stay!
This location was perfect for our visit to Sydney (~10 min drive) and to the Fortress of Louisbourg (~1 hr drive)!
The house is not that soundproof within and outside the house, so you might hear some noises outside like cars driving, but the noise was manageable and the neighbourhood was pretty quiet.
The staircase is slightly sunken in the middle, so be gentle when walking up the stairs and it should be fine.
The first floor, kitchen, bedroom and the living room smelled like mix of smoke and something else. It could be from the scented candle, but the smell was too much for us, so we all slept on the second floor. Maybe the smell is stuck on the fabric, not sure. It didn't smell much on the second floor. So we still had an awesome and comfortable stay.

The apartment just stunned us as we arrived. It is well equipped, spacious and clean. Lisa and Jerry made sure we felt comfortable and left small notes around the house which made it very personal and cozy. The hot tub on the balcony was a big bonus. Easy to access as they provide all necessary information beforehand. We appreciated the stay and would come back again.
