The host was lovely and very accommodating. The accommodation was excellent with many little touches that you'd be lucky to get even in an expensive hotel - various toiletries, sewing kit, etc. There was also an excellent selection of items for breakfast including fresh fruit. I had also asked in advanced for some oat milk. A fresh carton awaited me in the fridge when I arrived. The fridge also contained bottled water. All of this was complimentary. There was a lovely comfy sofa and a big TV. There was a radiator for heating that was very effective (it had turned really cold out). The bed was very comfortable. The location was very quiet - no noisy hotel guests that you sometimes get - and situated in a quiet residential street. The on-site parking was large (I have a large Tesla) and it accompanied it easily. The host also allowed me to charge my car and lent me a 13A adapter. This saved me a lot of time as I could charge up overnight. Although not asked for, I gave the host money for the charging as electricity is not cheap and I really appreciated the convenience. The shower was very good and there was big bottles of shower gel, shampoo and conditioner provided. THis will now be my 1st choice next time I want to stay in Newcastle.

There is nothing I did not like. Potential improvements - what would be useful would be a towel hook in the bathroom and a bedside light. But these were really minor omissions and didn't affect my enjoyment.
