We loved absolutely everything about Mar & Sol Penthouse! Firstly, the host, Vilma, is very helpful with recommendations and super responsive to questions answering within minutes of any inquiry. We were celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary and the special touches Vilma had waiting for us made it even more memorable. The penthouse is located a short 15 minute walk from a beautiful, large beach, the pool area is very clean and was not busy, and best of all, the large roof top deck was a private paradise! We enjoyed the ocean view and evenings under the stars. The apartment is very clean, well maintained and very well equipped with everything you need to dine ‘at home’ if you wish. However, the local restaurants and waterfront area would be a shame to pass up! Portimao is a lovely town without being overly touristy. We hope to visit again and, if available, we would book Mar & Sol Penthouse again.

El apartamento es una maravilla, moderno, cómodo, no le falta detalle, destacando su terraza que es fantástica , estupenda para disfrutarla en familia con vistas al mar y barbacoa, la atención de la anfitriona, Vilma, estupenda , atenta en todo momento por si necesitábamos cualquier cosa , dejándonos incluso sombrillas y sillas para la playa , además de unos regalos de bienvenida, todo un detalle, a mi familia y a mí nos ha encantado este apartamento y la atención recibida , no dudaremos en volver a alojarnos en él si volvemos a Portimaõ

Very cozy apartment with a lovely terrace and beautiful interior. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The layout of the apartment is very practical. We stayed here with 2 adults, 2 teenagers (17 and 12), and a 6-year-old child, and there was plenty of space for everyone. Having breakfast and dinner on the terrace was one of the highlights of our stay. There is also a great local restaurant just across the road where you can order takeaway and enjoy your meal on the terrace if you don’t feel like cooking. Kitchen had everything we needed. There are also a cooler and insulated boxes if you decide to take food and drinks to the beach. The beaches are wonderful and only about a 10-minute walk or a 2–3 minute drive away, with convenient parking available. We didn’t use the pool because we specifically chose this location for its proximity to the beaches. Parking is also available inside the property. Our host, Vilma, was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. This apartment was one of the highlights of our trip to Portugal, and we would happily stay here again.
