This is a fantastic place to stay if you are visiting the Sonora area.
Pros:
- Location: right on Sonora's main drag (at the upper end); it's about a half mile walk downhill to the furthest downtown thing.
- Space: This is a conversion of a pair of 2-1.5 apartments - the space is huge!
- Water Pressure: Unusual for a house of this vintage to have great water pressure, but this one did.
- My boys loved the Larger than usual bunk beds
- Host: fantastic friendly host who made sure to let us know that if we needed
- Four (!) separate A/C controls - I'm sure this is clutch in the summertime when it's hot in Sonora.
Cons:
- Location: Highway 49 [Sonora's Main Drag] is busier than we expected, and vehicles traveling it were louder than expected - this may not be a great spot for light sleepers or "early to bed" types.
- As a side sleeper, King Bed was a little firmer than I like.
Other notes:
- Layout is quirky, with two staircases heading to the top floor. There is a pass-thru from side to side on the upper floor, but you have to also pass thru bedrooms to use it.
Verdict:
This is a fun place to stay if you're in the area, which makes it feel like you're a part of the downtown. We'd stay here again if we are re-visiting the area.

Recently stayed here with some friends on a much needed getaway trip. It was honestly everything I was hoping for and more! I get sort of nervous traveling, especially when I’m not familiar with the area, but this lovely house’s location quickly relaxed me. Parking was a breeze because there was a parking structure right next to the house for all us (three cars total). Downtown is literally right next to the house and everything was walking distance! We were able to grab food and drinks during the night time with ease, and wake up early to go grab coffee and shop at the local stores. The house was incredibly spacious, but still had so much detail and charm. It felt fancy and cozy all at the same time, which made hanging out with company easy going yet still special. We definitely will be booking again and can’t wait to explore some more!

We stayed here with our family and had a really great time. The house was clean, comfortable, and had plenty of room for everyone. It had everything we needed and made for a relaxing trip. The location was right in the heart of sonora next to all the downtown shops!

We had a great stay! The location was perfect close to everything we wanted to do. The place was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. We would definitely recommend this Airbnb to others and would be happy to stay here again.
