Westway is a lovely well appointed cottage style home a short walk from Colwell Bay, with walks along the promenade as well as along the coast to Totland and Freshwater. The beds were comfy, kitchen had all the basics and there is a nice fenced garden for dogs to enjoy. We went end of September, so got to enjoy the bars and restaurants in the bay. Loved our stay and would definitely book again.
The garden was a little unkempt with the grass needing a trim. The fruit trees had dropped quite a bit of fruit into the long grass which had rotted. It made wandering in the garden risky. However the beds were pretty.

Clean beautiful home and a lovely big garden for our dog
Someone came round to mow the back garden without knocking on the door to let us know which was frustrating when we had come home to relax for the afternoon. They also left the side gate and driveway gates open which isn’t great when you’ve got your dog with you. Outside of that it was a brilliant stay.

The location was excellent, it was very clean and well equipped.
This is NOT a 2 bathroom property as advertised. It is a 1 bathroom, with a separate toilet with no wash hand basin, just a bottle of hand sanitiser! It is at best misleading to advertise this property as a 2 bathroom, at worst it is false advertising. Also there were additional costs which were high IE; additional cost of £65 for cleaning, then additional costs for the dogs on top of the £750.00 that we had already paid. I would have thought that this would have been included in the hire cost. This was not made clear prior to booking.
