The Space:

Escape to Coastal Escape, an upscale waterfront retreat in Saint James City where refined comfort meets effortless island living. Thoughtfully designed for large families or multiple families traveling together, this beautifully appointed home offers two private living spaces, premium furnishings, and an exceptional outdoor setting made for relaxing and entertaining.



The main level features three beautifully furnished bedrooms and two bathrooms, along with a sophisticated living area, private entrance, fully equipped chef’s kitchen, and laundry. A wall of doors opens to a spectacular screened patio and expansive outdoor deck, creating an effortless flow between indoor and outdoor living. The private one-bedroom suite on the ground floor offers its own entrance, elegant living area, full kitchen, bathroom, and laundry—perfect for guests who appreciate additional privacy.



Outside, resort-style amenities create a vacation experience all their own. Take a dip in the large heated pool with a sun shelf, unwind in the hot tub, or stretch out on the chaise lounges beneath the Florida sunshine. A sandy beach area, hammock, and porch swing provide relaxed spaces for lingering afternoons, while the private dock makes it easy to enjoy fishing and boating right from home. Cruise just minutes to nearby beaches, islands, sandbars, and the open waters of the Gulf.



Back inside, upgraded kitchens and bathrooms, premium furnishings, and Smart TVs throughout add a polished touch to every stay. Dogs are welcome, so your four-legged family members can enjoy the getaway too. A convenient doggy door and poop bag dispenser make the home especially accommodating for canine guests.

Security cameras do not monitor private living areas or the interior of the home. Please refer to the welcome book for camera locations and monitoring information.



Smoking is permitted outside only.



Guests who would like the pool heater turned on should contact VueStay at least 72 hours prior to arrival. The pool heating fee is $32 per day, plus tax. Pool heat is available October 1 - May 1.



Before Adding Pool Heat

We recommend checking the Saint James City weather forecast shortly before your stay when deciding whether to add pool heat to the reservation.



Electric pool heaters rely on the outdoor air temperature to warm the water and are generally capable of heating pool water to approximately 20°F above the outside air temperature under favorable conditions.



During periods of cooler weather, ( typically in December, January and February and particularly when a cold front moves through Southwest Florida, the pool may take longer to warm and may not reach or maintain 85°F.



Important: Electric pool heaters may not operate when the outdoor temperature is approximately 55°F or below. Because pool heating performance is affected by outdoor temperatures and weather conditions, a specific pool temperature cannot be guaranteed.

Southwest Florida enjoys warm weather throughout much of the year, but temperatures can vary considerably during the fall and winter. Historical averages can be helpful when planning your trip, but we always recommend checking the current forecast before deciding whether to add pool heat.

Cooler Weather in Southwest Florida



Please remember that the temperatures above are historical averages and are not a guarantee of the weather during your stay. Cold fronts can occasionally bring significantly cooler temperatures to Saint James City, especially from December through February.



For example, temperatures in the Pine Island area dropped into the upper 30s during a January 2025 cold snap, and another strong cold front in November 2025 brought morning temperatures into the low 40s.



These colder periods can significantly affect the performance of an electric pool heater.



Please Keep in Mind



Pool heat can make swimming much more comfortable during Florida's cooler months, but pool temperatures cannot be guaranteed. Outdoor air temperature, overnight temperatures, wind, rain, cold fronts, and other weather conditions can all affect how quickly the pool warms and the temperature it can maintain.
