The Space:
Soaring beach and ocean views are yours to behold from this 21st-story perch at Golden Sands of Ocean City! Bright and inviting, this condo comes tastefully decorated and offers numerous home comforts including cable-equipped smart TVs, central air-conditioning, a full kitchen, and a private washer/dryer. Have a seat on the covered, private balcony and enjoy the sea breezes and panoramic vista. The soft sand below invites you to spend your days at the beach. Guests of the main bedroom can watch the ocean through their wall of floor-to-ceiling windows. Ocean City's top attractions are within a short driving distance, but recreation opportunities are also abundant right on the property. Get in your daily exercise with some vitamin 'sea' - the fitness center's treadmills face the water, and the tennis court and outdoor pool are beachside.

The building provides complimentary WiFi as a courtesy, but it is not guaranteed.
Per building management, cannabis is prohibited everywhere on the Golden Sands grounds.

***SATURDAYS ONLY… ****Security Staff will be positioned in the parking lot to give you your parking permit and parking space number at your check in time through 8pm, after 8pm please go to the front desk in the lobby of the Golden Sands building. There is 1 parking space available and Building Policy is a strict No early parking. Vehicles may not be parked or left unattended during the move in or move out process. All vehicles must be parked in your assigned parking space or your vehicle is subject to booting or towing at the vehicle owner’s expense. Parking tags must be displayed at all times. ***No Early Parking and space numbers are NOT the same as the unit number.
***SUNDAY through FRIDAY…June 6th, 2026 through September 11th, 2026 ****Please see the front desk in the lobby of the Golden Sands for your parking permit at your check in time. Please have your check in email ready for staff. ***
Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Several significant issues made our stay far from ideal, primarily regarding poor communication and maintenance.1. Communication & Parking (1/5 Stars):Host communication was slow and unhelpful. I reached out a week prior regarding parking and waited three days for a response. When I called, the off-site rep simply read the booking packet and couldn't contact anyone on-site for clarification and suggested we should find off-site parking on Parkopedia (all I found was paid garages). The host eventually replied via the app with the same incorrect info. When we checked in, on-site security confirmed that during the off-season, multiple passes are provided. The host’s lack of local knowledge caused unnecessary stress. All subsequent app responses during our stay were also delayed, about two days per response.2. Listing Accuracy & Amenities:The listing is misleading; the mentioned game room is not inclusive and requires an extra fee.3. Maintenance & Facility Issues:- No Hot Water: We had no hot water for our final night and morning. Cold showers were a miserable experience.- Lack of Supplies: Only 2 rolls of toilet paper for a 3-bathroom unit.- Worn Linens: Comforters were torn and need replacement.- Broken Fan: The bedroom ceiling fan in one room was non-functional.While the location has potential, the poor maintenance and uninformed hosting made for a frustrating stay. I hope these issues are addressed for future guests.
